Cipro (Ciprofloxacin)

Cipro is used to treat different deseases caused by bacterial infection of pulmonary system, kidneys and urogenital system, gastrointestinal system (mouth, dents, jaws, bladder and biliary tract), skin, mucous membranes and soft tissues.

For definition of an effective dosage consult with the doctor and take Cipro in agree with recommendations.Cipro it is taken orally with meal or without, desirable in 2 hours after meal. Wash down Cipro with a large amount of water. If you take vitamins or the multivitaminized complexes keeping minerals do not use them in 6 hours prior to or later 2 hours after intake of Cipro.In case you take sevelamer it is not recommended to take it within 4 hours to or after intake of Cipro. The best effect during treatment with Cipro is reached at daily regular reception during all course of treatment. Even if your state has improved - continue to take a drug. It is not recommended to take Cipro with milk or milk products.

Do not miss any doses. If you miss a dose of Cipro , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

It is necessary to store Ciprofloxacin at temperature below 86 degrees by Farenheit far from humidity, light and children.

Precautions
Before taking Cipro inform your doctor if you had any kidney or liver disease, myasthenia gravis, diabetes, low levels of potassium in your blood, heart rhythm disorder, hypersensitivity of skin to the sun.
Restrictions
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, epilepsy, infants and teenagers younger than 18 y.o., hypersensitivity to Cipro and other drugs of fluoroquinolones group.
Cipro is not recommended to take with medicines, which reduce acidity of your stomach and any alkaline mineral waters, drugs containing ions of aluminium, zinc, iron or magnesium because they can decrease absorption of Cipro.

Some side effects are possible:

• disturbance; stomach upset; giddiness; a headache; appetite loss; nightmares; sight deterioration; nausea and retching, abdominal pain, rash, headache, and restlessness, confusion, hallucinations, pale or yellowed skin, dark coloured urine, easy bruising or bleeding. In the case of their regular appearance seek for medical aid.
